H2D Nozzle and Birdseye Camera > bambu-studio-feature

Please add the ability to view and stream the H2D Nozzle and Birdseye Camera just like the main camera.

PS: sorry… can’t find anywhere to add the tag… I guess it must be my trust level… H2D is my first Bambu

In the review of the H2D on the 3d printing nerd channel on youtube he said he’d asked about this and they were looking into it

This feature would be so useful for streamers and content creators, not to mention for sanity checks on print quality.

Whats the status on this, i really would like to have that possibility to switch to those cameras while printing. Can’t be that hard to add that feature. Come on Bambu lab.

I was bummed to see the recently posted beta FW still doesn’t have it.

bump!

While I know that non-laser versions of the H2 series printers dont have the top camera, but this is still a function that is very nice to have and can’t really take that much effort to implement!

Any updates? Hoping this is eventually added as it would be nice to have multiple views to tell if something is failing.

Bumpp!!

Should be easy task to implant in Bambustudio and it would be awesome to got 3 views, camera are there anyways

I wonder if the reason they aren’t adding it is because the quality of the cameras aren’t great… Then again, small digital cameras have come a long way and it really can’t be that bad. They might be doing an “Apple” move and keeping only the refined user experience, but for the rest of us that isn’t what 3D printing is. I hope in the future they add a “Developer Mode“ or something similar that allows access to more advanced stuff.
