With the misspelling do you think itās a knockoff, or just a typo?
I find it strange you can find a frostbite plate when it is still unavailable on the BIQU website
Then the typo may just be why itās delayed if the manufacturer made a mistake and itās selling them on a third channel as the packaging (although with smooth sleeve not bubbled), the leaflet, the barcode sticker (although mine is all chinese) look just like my glacier plate direct from BIQU. Did it come with plate type QR code stickers (or whatever theyāre called) as it should have?
Mine did not come with any QR stickers
The surface of the plate does appears shinier. It did not come with any stickers though there is a blank square on the plate where one could be placed. It came in bubble wrap with a slip of paper comparing the Frostbite to the Glacial.

I donāt know now but it was not cheap at $60. I might return it because it does not work as well as the oem plate and definitely does not grip as well as the Supertac. Large flat prints need to be pried off the Supertac.

I ordered mine on the official BIQU Store on Aliexpress and I got a message that it will release at the 01.07.2025. I paid 42 Dollars for it. (Shipping included.)
If I were you, I would do that as I donāt think it is a legit plate, there are too many evidences that itās not especially since even BIQU does not have it. Someone posted above what should be the official plate from official Ali BTT store and the extra Cryogrip marking on the right of the plate is not there.
You should send an inquiry to BIQU though as octobigtree where you purchased it should be an official reseller of BIQU

That it is an official retailer I suppose so but that it is BTT itself Iām not sure, physical address is different and email adress is a hotmail one rather than a biqu3D.com.
Hmm interesting that plate appears differently. The seller on amazon is also āOctobigtree.ā Good thing itās easy to file for returns on amazon.
