the fact that they directly proposed a “50%” discount makes me think that they know this is not rare, if they were confident i think they would have directly proposed to send another one and dont leave a client with a defective product.

Yes, it still happens even in the latest version. And could be quite often. But as a buyer there’s nothing on the market can compete with it and doesn’t have the same issue… so… yeah.
