I have a H2D laser combo. The LCD screen does not power on. The power switch on the back lights up. E-stop switch is on with red connector plugged into it. The green light inside the back on the power supply lights up and only 1 light on the AP board is lighting up. (suppose to have a second one blinking) When powering on, The fan turns on then off. The start / stop button blinks on and off, a light on the tool head remains on and the LED bar on the front of the heat bed turns on white and fades off and on . I suspect the AP board is bad. What do you guys think? I just submitted a support ticket , but they seem to take a while to get back to you and then it seems to be a back and forth with them for days .
can you still connect to it in slicer?

Have you double checked that the display connector is plugged in correctly on both ends?
Yes I double checked the display connector. Support actually got back to me and they think its the AP board. I did some additional tests they asked me to do, but it did not solve the issue. So I reported back to them. Just waiting to hear back from them again at this point.
I have the same issue, did the new motherbord solve it.

Hi FishyDEP, I have a H2C Also and my dual extruder wouldn’t grip the ptfe tube on the left side anymore so I ordered a new dual extruder part, followed all the instructions to a T and when it was completed I tried to turn the machine back on and I now have the same issue you guys all have. When I power the machine on the 2 AMS 2 Pro Units connected to the machine do their start up dance the tool head illuminates one light for a second and turns off, the faans do their test etc. but the toolhead has no lights on it after that, it doesn’t move or home itself, the headbed doesn’t move or anything. The screen is just dead. The heatbed progress light flashes slowly and there is only one green light illuminated on the AP Board. I have tried the whole unpluge for atleast 10mins and all that. I disassembled and reassembled the tool head again to ensure I didn’t do it wrong and checked the ribon wires eren’t pinched etc. I am now a bit lost. I don’t want to fork out the $$ for a new AP Board if it is not the issue. Ayone confirmed the issue with their machines yet. Particularly interested in FishyDEP as we have the same machine.
@matt17 A new AP board fixed the issue for me. Unless you messed something up while doing the extruder, I doubt that’s the root cause. It’s most likely the unplug that you did before working on it and then on the next boot, the AP board failed. Mine failed in a similar way: turned off then unplugged the printer to install a track switch, then it didn’t boot when turning it back on.
FWIW, I also had a dead printer after doing routine maintenance (which involved powering down the machine and then powering it back up). When I turned it on, the screen never turned on. No blinky light on the AP board – only the solid one.
So I got a new AP board and swapped it and it works again. I guess that was the issue. I am worried that it is just going to happen again though, since all I did was powered off the machine and then powered it back on again. I really hope the new board has fixed whatever the issue was with the first one. If it’s not something that can be remedied with a board fix, I really hope Bambu issues some other kind of fix, because I don’t want to have to order another AP board for hundreds of dollars.
I just replaced my left eddy sensor, powered it back up and have the same issue. All the indicator lights come in but the screen is black.
Turning it off then on…. should not fry the AP board.
