H2D Specs Leaked

It makes sense. I mean, imagine the cost of doing seperately heated panels lol(prusa xl jab). ~sarcasm.

I imagine eventually we will all be peailing up our heaters to replace with a new replacement unit. Or receiving replacement beds.

This and it losing detail and not printing as fast as my X1C. And maybe a falling out with Orca slicer. And all the weird laser, plotter, cricket cutter stuff, which is at best a distraction from what should be a flagship 3D printer. This is the opposite of the warm fuzzies I had when I purchased my X1C. And the reviewers are not over-the-top positive like they were with the X1C. The whole idea justifying the (comparatively) high price is to be buying a solution that ā€œjust works,ā€, not a bag of problems. Are these even the same engineers that designed the previous printers? The attention to detail seems to be missing. This is beginning to feel like a win-lose in Bambu’s favor, not the win-win of previous printers. I’ve got a sinking feeling about this.

Has anyone tried a thin sheet of copper between bed and plate? Not sure if that is feasible or not.

Edit: works for Clad cookware to distribute heat.

Not sure, but that is a good idea. Something to better spread the heat between heating pad and bed better. Or between bed and plate like you said.

Eww maybe mandalaroseworks.com will make a thicker bed which should spread heat better. Anybody see them advertise the bed thickness for the h2d anywhere? I think its still only a single z stepper, so i imagine its not super thick

It’s out

Such a roller coaster of emotions you seem to be on. You were super disappointed when the printer specs were leaked and loudly complained about how it wasn’t what you wanted… but you went ahead and bought one anyways? Now you have buyers regret because of something you read on the internet? Maybe it’s time to take a break from the internet? Don’t forget that this hobby is supposed to bring joy and be fun. If it doesn’t, find something that does.

Pyrolytic graphite is 3x copper in-plane.

@lgor It would be awesome if you chimed in without attacking someone for once. We get it. You love bambu. Some people are capable of disliking aspects of items that they buy. Its a crazy concept. In some peoples world, everything should just be hidden and everybody should shut up and like it or leave it. Thats weird imo.

Please try and bring joy and fun to your forum posts,. Or take a break from the internet and find something that does make you happy

Its well known that bambu has issues with beds lol.

They could have also lifted the youtube embargo before releasing the product. ā€œto better help inform peopleā€, since they had low stock

Did you buy one? And support Bambu?

Do you think H2D is actually an XC2?

Look at the belts, same toothed x-gantry rubbing against idler like on X1 and P1. So expect the same 2mm VFA noise on the X axis…

No, it’s a new line of printer. I meant that the H2D had come out since you said ā€œif it comes outā€

You’re welcome.

I would have waited how the whole auth disaster plays out anyway, but this is definitely a design issue I’d be worried about as well.

Will be interesting to see if BL addresses the issue with a hardware revision or if an aftermarket solution will be necessary.

I’m also interested if they addressed the bed flatness. You can bet they made sure that the early review units all had flat beds, so we’ll have to wait and see how the average quality turns out to be…

bro not bad but the translator u use has translated it incorrectly

that kinda ofendes me

I didn’t claim to understand either Cantonese or Shanghainese… but for the sake of comprehension, do put a ā€œwestern alphabet translationā€ next to it. That would be helpful for the rest of us.

sorry. it was meant as a joke…
