Actually, 85C is an awesome number for the Nylons and PET’s (or any higher temp filament). The 60C and 70C dryers we mostly have now, can take forever if someone leaves their filament out in open air for a while.

PLA, TPU, PETG… they can all be dried fairly easily by standard dryers.

The new AMS being backwards compatible sounds really intriguing if true.

The laser package needs ventilation right, any info if there’s any ventilation included or do people with diode laser cutters build their own ventilations? I did notice an air duct on the leaked image with the laser module.

I’m trying to convince myself that i need the laser module! :sweat_smile:

The device specs seem to indicate it’ll have it’s own pump and air line, as well as ventilation system, with an option air purifier available. It has an asterisk though, and not sure how safe it would be still to do inside/near you.

I want the laser but I also want clear panels to go “Oooo” at my prints lol. Guess it’s time to start working with my eyes closed to get used to it early

no haters just no buyers for all in one wonder from Bambu - based on these “leaked” specs this will be a disaster for Bambu since only BL fanatics will buy it. No one in right mind wants or needs this Franken printer

Would be neat if it had a slideshow feature that swapped cams every few seconds, I could see getting a cheap monitor to put on the wall above it with that view while printing. But I assume the Live View camera is going to be the only one we get, the others are probably designed specifically for the recognition algorithms and don’t have great looking angles

I get what you’re saying but

  • people are excited, and hype is unfortunately a very real and marketable thing.
  • It’s the internet, searching for a topic before making your own is a behavior only a minority of users exhibit
  • this comment is honestly un-needed and not in the spirit of the community, if you are worried about spam, report and move on. Don’t add to it

I really hope we can get the video feed from the nozzle cam!

I’m just excited. Going from MendelMax 2.0 to this. Whole family will be happy with the versatility. No more ordering custom engraved Stanley Cups.

Who knows with current day Bambu, but if people are able to get custom firmware on it in the future I can 100% see them being available on it

Looks like the AMS Pro has 4 slots and the AMS HT has only 1 slot based on their math. (4x4)+(8x1) = 24

I think the math is all 24 go into 1 nozzle, and the second nozzle would have a dedicated feed.
