H2D volumetric flow test not working?

I must be doing something wrong, but I don’t know what. I want to do some max volumetric flow tests, but the slice seems incorrect. For example, I’m using this test model/project:

I open the project in bambu studio, sync my filament and make sure the model is assigned the filament I want to test, and slice. Then in “Slicing Result”, I change the color scheme to “Flow”, and I can see the flow is the same for the entire model, and only 6 mm3/s and not increasing as it goes up. Something I’m doing wrong? There looks to be a bunch of modifier cubes set, which I would think would adjust the flow at each level, but I’m also not aware of a flow setting that can be changed like that (only at the filament level)

Did they ever fix the slicer? I haven’t tried in a long time, but when I did, none of the modifier test prints would work. You can manually modify them to only have 1 modifier or just 2 speeds per test, but more than that was a problem in the past.

Oh that’s weird, I didn’t realize there was a problem. I’m fairly new to bambu and bambu studio. I’ve used modifier cubes, but usually just one or so per model. Thanks for the heads up.

What filament are you trying to test? Regular or HF nozzles? I will upload a 3MF for you.

Everything really, but I mostly print in ASA, PETG, PLA, TPU, sometimes PC. HF nozzles, except for TPU. Also HIPS and PVA, but I never try and set any speed records with those lol. Sure, anything you have would help, thanks!

Here you go. This is starting at 10mm³/s going up to 60mm³/s in 1mm increments.

  1. Make sure to have time-lapse turned off, there is a bug in the current BS that will cause a pause and seam if you enable it.
  2. If you swap to a different filament, dont forget to set the flow rate to 200mm³/s on both standard AND HF nozzle tabs, they are separate.
