Hi, i´ve installed the Bambulab TPU Feeder and i don´t want to change always the PTFE right extruder. I read that you shouldn´t use a 2:1-Y-Splitter in the printing chamber. You should use a selector. Anyone here who has solved this problem and has a solution for me? Thanks for your help.
I’ve done both, and I prefer to just keep a dedicated tube inside the printer clipped into the chain and head and just swap the tube versus the Y splitter inside the printer. Both work, it’s just preference for me.

Sorry not near it today, but I ran the tube from the TPU assist through the TPU port hole and parked the tube in one of the slots in top of the print head. There are a few slots on top of the chain that I found some printable grommet that you can slip in and feed the tube through. I can’t find it in my history it’s been so long.
The reason I did this versus the Y adapter was to force myself to unload properly and interrupt muscle memory. If I forget to unload it and put the standard tube back in (I have once) I get a good chunk of filament unspooled inside the printer before it errors out. Maybe 10 or so loops from the spool.
I got the idea of parking the tube from the TPU wiki for the H2 Series. If you look at that it shows exactly where Im talking about for the park. The grommets should be easy enough to find out there.
The ones I found went in the air hose clip on the top of the chain, since I dont have a laser kit it seemed like the easiest place to put them. I used ASA for heat tolerance.
