H2D X-Axis Shift Following a Power Outage

I’ve been using the H2D for months, and every time there’s a power outage, it shifts on the X-axis. While I’ve never had this problem with my P1 printers, it happens every time with the H2D. Is this just my issue, or has anyone else experienced this?

Auto recovery after a power outage is always sensitive to motions after the power is cut. Though the PSU can shortly supply some power after the outage, when the tool head is still moving at high speed, it may miss the last bit.

It is an option to not fully lose your print job, but quality can never be guaranteed. However, if you have frequent power outages, I would consider a UPS for the printer.

It also depends on how long your power outages are. Long outages require a large UPS.
