H2S Nozzle Wiper is just "Gone"

The little roller and the plastic that supports it is just totally “gone”.

I have ABS clumping and didn’t notice it. I had cleared some nice globs of ABS and it must have been in one of them. There is no putting on a new roller.

What do I need to order?

Thanks, kindly,

Should have gotten extras with the printer. They do not have a “roller” but just the black holder thing. It’s basically the same one for the X and P without the PTFE. Doubt it would matter.

Looks like the H2s does have rollers.

There is no PTFE on the H2 series. Just the “mount” if you will. Yes it looks like the X and P rollers, but again, no PTFE.
I would guess the X and P would work.

I thought it was some wiper. Not sure what it’s there for but it’s mangled. I do seem to get a lot of lumping at the poop shoot when using AMS. It’s been a while since I printed PLA on it. I hope the poop-shoot door still opens.

I don’t know if I got a replacement wiper with the printer or not. I will search my mess. In the meantime I did order a few from Bambu. I have not heard back from there tech support. I messaged them before I found out it was replaceable. Who know, maybe they will send me some more for free? LOL

I thought it used to have that PTF tube roller on it when new. I do have rollers for the X1C, I could probably use one of those.

I have the printer sitting on my large office desk. This means, I am going to have to use a small ladder to get at the poop chute area from above (If I want to see what I am doing).

BTW, here is a pic, I pulled it from inside the poop chute area. It is broken in the middle and mangled.

Sorry, I was in a bit of a panic. When I first saw it mangled, I was thinking it was part of the chute mechanism. Then I remember it used to have a nozzle wiper looking thing like the X1 does.

From what I see in your picture, I’d inclined to order one of these:

H2S Purge Wiper

It’s just a screw. You can find other wipers on MW, I’ve used just a piece of silicone on mine. Works well. It’s not the best wiper design. The scrubber works fine. The part that’s damaged on yours is really just there to knock larger bits and strings off before it hits the actual wiper.

You can buy the whole thing, little more expensive. Really just 2 screws to remove it and put the new wiping pad on.

Thank you. I couldn’t find something like that last night. I hate to make another order. I’ll see how much filament I need to get to free shipping. lol

I am going to pull that wiper/bucket out and see what it looks like up close. I have one on-order plus some MATT PLA.

I now have “blob” protection turned on. I don’t think it’s dumped any ABS down to poo chute lately. No wonder it started to get a mess in the printer.

Okay guys, thanks for all the help! I figured out what caused this. Look at the mess that came out of the poop shoot what I removed my poop chute bucket/guide thingy:

It must have been really jammed up and I did not know it. The bucket/drawer is not full, only about half. This design is beautiful, but does not work, I guess. Shxt.

I’ve never been a fan of the chutes that completely cover the chute on the back of the printer. I recently printed this H2 Low Profile Poop Chute for my setup.

I have my AMS rack stacked on the left side of my printer for best PTFE routing and this fits in between them and allows me to monitor and empty the bucket very easily.

I printed mine with PETG and so far I haven’t had any pile ups.

Here’s a pic of my setup:

I’ve been using a 4” adapter and just let mine come out and fall about a foot into a trash can. Mostly no issues. Once in awhile a specific filament (soap) won’t cooperate. I print all that at one time so I can just deal with it.

That’s nice. The designer of the one I use, came out with one that doesn’t penetrate in to the printer’s chute. The original one I made was probable out of PLA. I printed the new version last night in orange ABS. Hot Poop probably got stuck to the PLA and shouldn’t to the ABS. We will see. I still love the design; which is right for my and my setup.
