H3C leak? Will it be better than the H2C?

Did you hear about the leak of the H3C
What do you think will it be able to do?

What will be new and different to the H2C?

it also mentions a X2D PRO

It’s 1 better.

And that’s great, because 3 is 50% better than 2!

Serious reply: Not speculating on the H3C, but the X2D has two obvious potential upgrades: a non-Bowden secondary extruder, and/or even higher temperature support for printing “engineering” plastics. It could be a successor to the discontinued X1E.

I have not hear of that leak before.

Interesting that the plate shows 8A @ 110-120VAC.

I’m not at my printer, but the H2C is something like 12A @ 110-120 VAC.

I don’t want to stir up speculation on this basis alone but this does point towards a few interesting things.

Awwww, I thought the other thread from last week was going to be the wild speculation thread.

From the labels shown in the OP, the H3C is intended for the Latin American market.

I guess it’s just one label example. If it was why having it FCC certified?

And most are 220V except Venezuela, Ecuador or Colombia which would make it for a small market

What did you have in mind? The published patents do mention that the AMS/auto feeder will not be actively heated but use the printers air (from chamber heater) via recirculation to dry the filament, so that can be one of the contributing factors to lower power usage.

Mexico and all of Central America use the same electrical system as does the US, as do the northern most South American countries. The NOM and ANATEL markings are from Mexico and Brazil respectively and the EU markings are missing.

Besides, the FCC regulates communications independent of supply voltages. Most importantly for electronic engineers is that the FCC regulates electromagnetic emissions. A 3D printer, to be in compliance, has to operate in a manner that does not interfere electrically with other devices. The regulations tend to be applied internationally.

The electronics industry developed in primarily three different countries, the United States, Germany, and Japan. As such, all the world follows the standards first laid out by those three countries. Most ISO standards began as DIN or ANSI standards. It is why electronic components tend to use 2.54mm spacings — the technology developed using 0.1 inch spacings.

H3C and 8A @110-120V is also low, the H2C is rated 1250W@110-120V which should be at least 10A. But Bambu might have it’s own logic with machine naming/rating.

The two biggest energy consumers are the heatbed and the extruder - I have to imagine the H series is going to stay the same size, so the only way the heatbed draws less power is if they do the zone heating strategy that’s on the A2L, or come up with some insulation and heat transfer strategy to get much better heating out of less heater.

The other thing, and I really hate to speculate on this, but it could indicate a change to inductive heating. Not necessarily going away, but a more efficient design and a better strategy - like momentarily cutting bed heating power during initial inductive heatup after a nozzle swap - could account for the change. If inductive is going away then the current Vortek design is toast.

It always amuses me how much extra time some people have to spend on a “product” that they are not even sure its a product… As a hobby I would think this very unfulfilling.

Offering criticism is much more fulfilling

I currently have the H2S and love it, but keep getting ask for so many multicolour prints but customer ones so have been considering the H2C, but if the H3C is a real thing and BAMBU confirms it, i will hold off until I know its release date. I imagine it will be based of the H2C so it will work very well as customer feed back has been execpetional. Love to get a prototype to try and ill make a video to review and explain what i was so interested in that product.

More than likely it’ll follow the H2D Pro with having LAN capabilities and an ethernet port, along with the higher support potentially

AI detector says that its 94% ai generated. Plus you can see so many mistakes, especially bottom part

It’s In these two videos both reputable sources

Also ai was used to remove background and reflections to protect leaker as well
