During a print, the magnetic lid of the print head fell off, causing an axis shift.
Experiencing such an issue during the final hours of a 30-hour print is truly frustrating.
I tried to manually realign it, but since I couldn’t set the “origin” after making adjustments, the misaligned axis would return to its original faulty position.
Here’s how I solved it: I moved the head to the very end of both the X and Y axes and forced the axis shift to “reverse.”
Although this might slightly damage the belts, it provides a good opportunity to complete the print without further issues.
