Has your H2D Shipped?

Another day without delivery, without a call, and no way to reach GEL Express and no response from Bambu Lab support. :frowning:

Good to hear! When he delivered mine I could also see 1 additional H2D box in his van

Was the packaging OK? I couldn’t really see that. Anyway, mine’s perfectly OK, calibrating as we speak

It looked okay. One of those plastic straps was gone but there weren’t any holes or anything.

Have fun with the device!

Thanks, I certainly will. Same to you!

Any ideas which transport service is used for delivery in The Netherlands? Does GEL hand it over to a Dutch transporter?

Omg did you guys see this video making the rounds? The guy pretty much rolls the H2D box to the sidewalk, drags it a bit, then proceeds to roll it up the stairs. This is just one frame:

It’s no wonder people’s z rods have escaped. In my case, my aux fan was loose but they seemed to have anticipated this and provided extra “rubber screws” (was not a fun 30 minutes because the rubber grommets came out too and the wiki doesn’t mention these at all)

These also start out with 2 nylon straps that hold the box together, yours has none now. I’m guessing they get used to move the boxes around and quickly break.

Yeah, I wondered about that too. Mine came with one strap and in this thread there are some pics showing one strap on the side as well. I think they went from two to one strap as my box did not show any traces of a second strap.

I wouldn’t think that’s enough to damage the contents.

I thought shippers define adequate packaging as withstanding a 3 ft drop (or was it 6) without damage to the contents.

Why can’t bambu just set up something where we put a small down payment towards a printer so we have are place in line. Like a lot of other company’s

Fedex sucks they always treat things like trash. This guy should be fired. The boxes are labeled fragile and keep this side up on them.

It is not possible for everyone to carry that heavy package alone.

Maybe he had no sack barrow, or do you call that hand truck?

If he had none, it propobly is fedex foult for not providing one.

If he had one and did not use it, than this guy should be fired.

Even if he has one, it also would be not that easy to get the printer over the stairs. You would need a special “hand truck” for that.

I got the e-mail with the tracking number, but the tracking says still waiting for package. How long did it take for you guys from when they created the label to they actually shipped it?

I agree with you on one point, FedEx should provide a hand truck or dolly, but people with common sense would know not to treat a package that says fragile and that it contains glass this way. Regardless of the hand truck or not, if you sign up to work at FedEx as a delivery driver, Im positive they have minimum requirements such as being able to lift objects of a certain weight. If he can’t, then why is he signing up to do this.

Haha are you sure? It’s 2025 and that’d be discrimination

It says so directly on their page.

  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds unassisted.
    • Ability to maneuver up to 150 pounds with equipment.
    • Must pass a DOT physical.

Sorry, I know, it was just a bad attempt at a joke

I get it, but you are right, some people would probably be made of sugar and use that reasoning as being discriminated against. When its not.
