Having trouble getting these plugs out, is there something in missing?

I know this post is ancient now, but I wanna share a model I stumbled on earlier today. They are little clips that go around the plugs that make removal MUCH easier, and if you have multiple toolheads, you can print them in different colors (like I did) to keep straight easily which hot end is installed.

I also really struggle with this and am glad I found a good solution. The metal tweezers tend to slip, imho, and I’m terrified I’ll tear the tiny wires. The other printed cable pullers feel really strange and uncertain. These are amazing.

My plugs were glued in. I used IPA directly on the plugs to loosen up the glue, it worked and I was able to release much more easily after that. {Forum wouldn’t accept my photo evidence.}
