After the new firmware my X1C wouldn’t print anymore, complaining about a slow or stuck heat break fan. Turns out, it was right! I had to clean filament out of the fan. I disconnected the one easy to see screw, dug out some filament with a toothpick, and then spun the fan like crazy with a can of air.
I’m posting this, because if you’re seeing this issue, it might be a real issue! Good job Bambu Labs!
next time hold the fan blade when you blast them with air!,
fans can work as an generator when fast moved while not powered and can generate bad voltage back in the device thats connected,
often fans have a diode to prevent this, but not all!
can be dangerous for your device!
same for the stepper motors that control the movement of the head and the bed! dont move them to fast while cleaning when powered off
