For the past two days, I’ve frequently encountered the error “Heatbed temperature malfunction [0300-8009 214115]” on my relatively new A1 printer. While I can dismiss the error and continue printing without any noticeable issues, it still concerns me as it might indicate an underlying problem.
I searched the Bambu Wiki but couldn’t find any information about this specific error code.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows how to resolve it?

I submitted a support ticket to Bambu, and they sent me a replacement heatbed to install myself. I haven’t installed it yet, but I will as soon as I have time.
does it says the heat bed cable may have an open circuit if it does go open a support ticket asap an they may send u a new heat bed if it doesnt say it {may have a open circuit

i had the same issue, and it only got worse after a while. Keep an eye on the bed temperature on the display and watch whats it’s doing. Mine would climb slowly then jump all over the place like up to 100C and then drop down and never really stabilize. I had filled out a support ticket, but decided to just do a return since I was still in that window (from Amazon). The replacement has been fine. So yes, there is a problem that needs to be address. Probably a new heatbed.
I have had the same issue. Every once in a while though. It will start heating up, and then that error pops up. I then dismiss it, and then the model prints fine, with this issue not happening again till 20-ish prints later.
I wrote support and they send me replacement part so I was able to fix it.
I have got a similar issue, but mine will not print, Heatbed Module Malfunction/Heatbed Temperature Control Malfunction, I had to turn my A1 upside down take the large bottom panel and use a multimeter ( ohms) to test two parts of the board.
I have put in my Support ticket with all the info that they required, so just waiting for a replay

I have the same heat bed issue with my P2S. If you have solved the problem, please share which parts fixed the issue. I am pretty sure this machine has a temperature sensor or sensor lead issue. The bed temperature will not stay on the set point. This error originated when I finished a print and tried to start another. I could cycle power and get it to run fine for another print. The problem progressed until the printer is completely useless. Less than 300 hours on the machine. I started a ticket, removed the back and checked for continuity and resistance at the bed sensor. That was within range at the moment, so Bambu sent an AC board. That also didn’t correct the issue. The unit temp is not running away upon power up, so I’m not really sure why they had me replace this. While digging deep into the unit to change the AC board, I found a heat sink screw that was stripped and loose in the frame. That is going to require tapping a size up. This printer has been a disappointing experience.
I eventually did replace the heat bed. That did correct the issue. Just a note for anyone having to do this. The heat bed has the thermocouple plug and power wires. There is only one wire that is routed through the rear frame. I believe it is yellow with a green stripe. That is a chassis ground. That is the only reason you have to disassemble the side and front panel. This is A LOT of connections that are very small. You will save yourself much effort if you just snip and connect the chassis ground.
Side note, 15 hours after the bed fix, my AMS feed motor failed. Turns out that was a poor connection at the plug. After all these issues, Bambu refused to replace the unit. They may have good machines, but I didn’t get one. The locked environment and this level of quality control sent me into two new Anycubic Kobra X machines, which so far have both surpassed the 300 hour mark without issue.
