Heatbed slipping on rod

Hello!

I opened a support ticket for this issue 5 days ago, but I haven’t received any updates since the initial response. I’m hoping that someone here will know the answer, so I appreciate any feedback.

Forgive my lack of knowledge, I’ll probably get some terminology wrong.
Simply put, on my P1P, the heatbed is sloped down from left to right if you look at the front of the printer. I noticed a few of these rings broken and wrapped about the rod , most of them fell to the bottom. If I level out the bed by returning it to the bottom the Z, as soon as it starts to raise, the right side slips and the bed is uneven again. I’ll post the pictures I took of the rings and bed. I assume I just need to order some parts in order to fix. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the forum.

It looks to me like the lead screw has perhaps failed.

The brass part in this picture below.

Here is the wiki article for replacing this part.

Thank you so much for this. I was able to disassemble the assembly on the side that has the issue. I would like to confirm the issue. Obviously, yes, the bed was slipping, so there’s an issue alright. I was just wondering if there’s anything visually that could tell me that the lead screw is bad. To my untrained eye, it looks normal, but again, untrained eyes.

Thanks!
