I have had the X1C for about two months.
After replacing the original heatbed a few weeks ago with a replacement Bambu sent me I still have the same problem of the heatbed being approximately 20° low no matter what temp I set it to.
I noticed today while making a video for Bambu support that in ‘standby’ mode sitting unused over night the bed temp on the display was showing approximately 42°C while the nozzle was 17° and the sensor for the enclosure was 16°.
(Yes my house is very chilly)
The printer works great as long as I increase the bed temp 20° higher than the filament calls for.
Maybe a circuit board or a sensor is bad? I would be surprised if I received a second heat bed with the same problem.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Vince
I guess I don’t know how to add a screenshot to this post?
You can just copy-paste screenshots directly into the post.
I concur that it is unlikely that 2 heat beds have exactly the same error. It kinda hints at a different root cause such as a defective connector or board. It looks like you may want to ask support to redo their analysis. They are used to sending out a string of replacement parts in piecemeal fashion.
If the printer is new, it may less hassle for you to request a replacement under warranty.

Thanks for the reply. I am guessing I am beyond the time that is allowed for a return and exchange. Like you I think it’s possible the board that the heatbed is plugged and into is the issue.
If you have a Bambu is the nozzle and heatbed showing the same temperature as your room when it is all cooled down?
Thank you.

Well, I am in Europe, so warranty is 6 months without questions asked, 2 years if I can show that a problem was pre-existing. I know it is as little as two weeks in other parts of the world but what matters is not today, but the date of your very first ticket on this issue.
And you never know. Bambu customer service is slow and can be very frustrating. But they generally do want to make their customers … in the end … after having tried everything else…
It does not hurt to ask nicely. And you’ll need them anyway for troubleshooting. Atm, you may have a stable temp difference of 20°C, but for how long? There’s definitely something unacceptably wrong here. Better get it sorted now rather than having the next issue appear when the printer is even older (ruling out any chance at a warranty replacement).
As for the temps, well, tbh, my printer has been running pretty much non-stop since, mhm, must have been late August. I think readings were off one or two degrees, but nothing I am concerned about.
Thank you for the additional info and pointing out that my first contact should be the date not the time I have been trying to solve the problem.

Sorry to bump this but did you solve it? having the same issue still after replacing a heatbed I got. room temp (and chamber/extruder) is around 23c, heated bed reports 45 and doesnt feel warm at all. Although if i raise it to 80c it is only about 5-10c off.
Yes it was a bad circuit board. I will get back to you this afternoon once I get the specific board name.
For me it was the MC board. My heatbed is still 3° low when the X1C has been sitting at room temp. Bambu says this is within specs.
If you have any other questions please ask.

What are the 3 temps being displayed when the unit has been sitting at room temp? Mine are nozzle/ extruder 24° : heatbed 21° : chamber 24°.
Thanks! mine are at the moment chamber 24, extruder 25 and heatbed 47 after just turning it on after sitting in room temp for 2 hours. might be the MC board as well then.
