Heated Enclosure for P1S

Is it possible to heat the enclosure of the P1S printer?

Yes. Depends on how much you want to heat if it’s worth the effort.

I have printed ABS and ASA without a heater, getting up to 57ish.

Look on makerworld, there are a few projects. I’ve made the BambuSauna and ended up feeling like it was too much. There are others, I’ve looked into them. Everytime I remember I don’t need it so put it on the back burner. Don’t wanna heat beyond 60 really anyway to avoid damaging electronics.

Thanks for feedback. Someone mentioned to me that the X1 Carbon has a heated enclosure but that feature does not appear in the specs. I will try a hotter build plate.

The X1E has a heated chamber with a maximum temperature of 60c.

The X1E has the heater.

There are some prints for the door gaps to help. I’m mobile so can’t link.

Keep lid down, door shut, preheat bed to 100 for a bit (10-15?). From there send the print. Don’t open until done or very quickly.
