Help improve first layer please

Just did a first layer test.
Overall pretty happy but there are some imperfections in the front left corner and at the back.
Any ideas what causes these and how to get rid of them?

Auto levelling was done in Bambi studio print settings.

The first layer on our machines is not always easy to get right as we have little to affect it.
Some slicers let you change the extrusion rate for the first layer, which can be useful.
I made it a habit to fully calibrate any new filament I use.
Even the Bambu rolls are not always providing the best working settings…

For your images it could be as simple as problems with the build plate.
Give it a good clean with warm enough soapy water and a sponge.
Even a fingerprint can often result in first layer issues…
Try to check if those imperfection happen in the same spots on the plate or if they appear in different spots if you change the infill direction.
Check the bed temperature…
You want a temp that provides enough bonding but not so high that the plastic says half melted or is very hard to pop off once the plate is cold.
You can also try a lower or higher extrusion temp for the first layer.
Usually a few degrees more make things easier but for some filaments a lower temp for the first layer is best as it helps to reduce the bond strength.

If you cannot find a solution:
It could be that the print bed is slightly warped. There are three screws on the underside that need to be adjusted very evenly and in small steps to prevent the print bed from warping due to tension.

Bambulab wrote in the Wiki that you should not level the print bed manually yourself, but only after consultation with Bambulab. It is possible that the print beds actually react to tension. This would occur if the adjustment screws are adjusted to different degrees. For example, by turning one screw 3 turns in one direction and the other screws less. To ensure that the print bed actually remains straight after manual levelling, great care must be taken here.

Thanks for your reply guys. Turns out it was my new Lightyear build plate that’s the issue. I swapped it with the standard Bambu hotplate and now the first layer is as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
Very disappointed with Lightyear, one of their features is that the build plate is thicker than other brands which according to them will prevent any warping (it also magnetically sticks to the print bed so strongly that I’m worried I’ll pull the print bed up with it when I try to remove it, but that’s another story).

I’ll send a message to Lightyear to let them know I’m not happy.

Thanks for your help and sorry I wasted your time, I should have thought to swap plates sooner.

Please let us know how they respond.
