Not sure either, they say all the files are printable on the Prusa so Ill probably just print it all on that one and call it good. Just odd that the Piper files have no issues at all and I can use and slice with both printers no problem. Their tutorial videos are also terrible. I think its a great idea and everything but they dot like to explain things very well. Thanks for checking it out though. Makes me feel better because I was going crazy wondering why it wasnt working.
No problem, happy to look into it. It’s weird too because Bambu Studio has that “close holes” slicing mode that specifically mentions 3dlabprint planes. Oh well, maybe not every model works.
I have been having similar issues as the rest of you. I used the latest version of Bambu Lab Studio. Change the Slicing Mode from “Regular” to “Even-Odd” and it may solve your issues. It did form me.
Did you ever figure out how to get the “Gaps” to be closed? my mk3s prints them fine but I want my X1 to do this.
You just saved me such a headache. Thank you, I couldn’t figure it out!!!
Did you manage to fix these grooves?
Thanks @mark.reindle, this worked for me! you do need to have some other settings configured as others have mentioned. This is what worked for me:
- No Infill (set to 0%)
- Slice gap closing radius set to 0mm (under quality)
- Slicing mode set to Even-Odd
Hope this helps others ![]()
YOU ARE THE GOAT! I had given up so decided to import the G-code for every single part into a SD card and manually print each part individually. You have saved me days of print time. Thank you sir.
Thanks for adding the extra info. I’m still a little confused.
When you said “no infill” (set to 0%), where do I find that setting?
Is it the one under the strength tab labeled “sparse infill” > “sparse infill density” where the default is set to 15 or is it elsewhere?
Hi. Been following your settings for slicing RC plane parts and found the wing ones great but when I try to get the ones for the fuselage, google is telling me there’s no such URL.
I’ve having problems getting the setting right as a beginner to 3D printing.
