We’re committed to making MakerWorld more accessible and user-friendly, ensuring you can fully leverage all its features. To support this, we aim to expand the Bambu Lab Wiki with more in-depth articles, detailed guidance, and helpful resources.
What kind of content would you find most valuable on the Bambu Lab Wiki to enhance your creations?
Your suggestions could focus on MakerWorld itself, MakerLab Tools, or the Maker’s Supply section—we’d love to hear what would help you the most!
One of the most recent topics we covered is a guide on how to make your own Litophane using the LED Backlight Board.
We also just published an FAQ article with the most common questions and answers related to MakerWorld, which you can check out by following the link below.
A guide for using MakerSupply components is needed. I did not purchase them for some time because I did not understand how they worked (some electronic components). I did eventually find content in a zip file on the product page but the Wiki would be a better location for it.
More detailed information and examples/guides for the various electronic parts would be ideal. Short video guides would be great but pictures would also work. Especially for things like the motors, or the magnetic connector, can it be used as a charging port for example? A demonstration of them being used in a model would be very helpful.
I would love to see a complete API and usage guide for the MakerLab Customizer. When I search the wiki for info I only find mentions in the release notes but a page that lists all the features and capabilities would help out a lot of users.
Do you have a section which dictates which models earn boosts , with specifics,
and not just a generic message in the system, examples of which are good enough and which are not, as a user who boosts model i print rather than look at ,it would be good if @MakerWorld would set the bar
The biggest thing for me would be to improve some of the photos which describe repair procedures. The pictures I’ve seen there in the past are way too small for high resolution screens and weren’t well lit so you could see the parts involved clearly. Better photos would go a long way.
With Maker’s Supply evolving so rapidly and having so many parts now, I’d personally love to see a Maker’s Supply circuit designer or wiring diagram assistant. Something that can be a simple web interface to help designers organize and create complex assemblies using parts like the Power Distribution Board, Potentiometer, Motors, Lights, etc. It would also help others when they are assembling your model and putting together the wiring.
