Help - where to find the PIN code to connect to studio

nowhere can i found that pin code, and the support page doesn’t mention the H2D, i have been raking my head looking everywhere on the printer, its a 6 numbers digit, anyone ?

because this is the link that studio send me to

no mention of the H2D and where to find it

H2D might not support binding it with a pin. You probably have to use a MW account instead.

I am not finding one either. I put in a Support ticket because I am not installing an app on my phone. All the other printers have PIN code binding, so should this one.

I will report back if I find a solution, I am not installing more junk on my phone that I will never use. They must provide a work-around, this is bonkers.

Is there an update to this issue? I can bind the H2D to the Bambu app on my phone but not to Bambu Studio on my Mac.

Ok, it seems H2D doesn’t support PIN code feature. The solution (I tried, it worked) is this:

To connect your H2D printer to Bambu Studio, you should use your Bambu Lab (MakerWorld) account credentials. This method allows you to bind the printer without the need for a PIN code.

Would you mind elaborating a bit more? We have 2 new H2S’s and I’m not able to connect them in anyway. Is there a config file containing the Makerworld credentials on the printer? And if so, can I connect to it using ftps and modify it so it works?

Glad that person chimed in and never elaborated. Thanks!! In Bambu Studio Go to Home (House Icon)>Maker Lab or Online Models and click. It should ask you to login. Once logged in, you should now see your printer.

Hwere do I enter my MakerWorld Creds?

Another H2D user here. Due to workplace security concerns I cannot download the Bambu Handy App, and the LAN only option is not practical as the printers and PCs running Bambu Studio are not in proximity to each other, hence they cannot be on the same network all the time.

When I open up the account tab on the printer’s interface, the only options I get are to choose my Region and then I get a QR code for the Bambu Handy app.

Is there any other way to get a PIN so I can bind this printer to my Bambu studio?

Thanks for that, I have now added my printer :slightly_smiling_face:

ok.. this is insane. H2D doesnt have a pin code. even the photo on the WIKI is wrong ( there is no log on screen).

ASK TO BAMBU: TELL US HOW TO BIND A H2D PRINTER!!

Ask to anyone else: apart from a phone.. how in gods name do you do it on a mac? or non phone..?

The printer does provide a LAN access code. It is shown on the LAN Only page, and Bambu Studio can use it to connect only when the printer is running in LAN Only mode.

Bambu Lab does make an H2D Pro with ethernet interface.

nice if they let people know. or better yet on the help page when you choose H2D that they dont offer that as an option. but hey.
