Help with printing this thin object

I’m having trouble printing this thin object on my x1c.

If i print it flat like this

I get a lot of marks like this

if I print it at an angle like this ( or the other way down)

I get fails at different location

For the angled version, I put the small perimeter threshold a 20mm and the small perimeter speed at 25%

Any suggestion ?
I need to print 40 of the little guys.

This, but the other way around. Put the fatter/heavier end down towards the build plate.

I did, those are the ones on the right. The thin parts wobbles and fails too.

Needs more supports, then.

Alternately, you could split it in half along the long dimension so that the cut can be laid flat on the build plate, print it in two halves and glue it together afterwards.

No rule says you have to print it as a single piece.

That’s an idea. Problem is the thin part is only 3 mm diameter.

SLA would be able to handle this. But there are some things you can’t really do with FDM printing. I’d argue a long irregularly shaped 3mm diameter rod is one of them.

Print the big bulb at the end, make the stem from some bent 3mm diameter piano wire.

Indeed I think I reached the limits of the technique.
