Well, it’s launched, people are getting them. I’ve run forums and it isn’t hard to do, so HOW ABOUT A P1S SPECIFIC section?
Why? There is already P1P section which completely encompasses the P1S too, same as the X1 section it also encompasses the X1 and X1C
The P1S is not just an enclosed P1P. Look at the comparison table here:
Bambu P1S / P1P / XIC comparison
Down to the nitty gritty it is exactly the same at the print end, you know the most important part!
Start your own group in the P1 section, see if it takes off, but there is not enough differences in my opinion to start another specific group
For me it looks like the same. And if I install the P1P to P1S Upgrade kit it’s technically identical to the P1S but anyway it’s a P1P.
Maybe @BambuLab should rename the “P1P” section to “P1 series” section, because they have talked about the X1 series and the P1 series
Control loops are different though and are the closed loop Like the X1
There are differences, but your post spoke to a separate P1S section. The other comments were saying the minor differences don’t warrant a separate section. There are differences in the X1 and X1C, but they share a section. Like was said above, renaming the section to P1 Series should make it more clear.
If you fit the P1S upgrade parts, the only thing the P1P lacks is a temperature sensor for the chamber regulator fan, which has nothing to do with how it will print. With a max bed temp of 100C the chamber doesn’t get hot enough for it to be needed anyway. They are essentially the same machine when it comes to printing.
