High Failure Percentage A1

Hi,

I’ve had my A1 for about a month now. For the first 3 weeks I don’t think I had a single failure. Then about a week ago I got my first one. But it didn’t actually fail as such. The printer just said it was finished although it had clearly stalled mid way through the print. There is no failure message/error.

I didn’t think too much of it, but now I’m having at least 40% of prints fail. Sometimes they just cancel before the really start. Or in many cases they just stop, no error.

I’ve tried recalibrating but that hasn’t helped and I also rolled back to the previous firmware but am still getting the failures. I’m at a loss as to why these are happening??

I’m using Generic PLA (it’s elegoo pla). Any more information just ask, I’m happy to provide.

Thanks

Try swapping out the SD card.

Thanks, what do you mean by swapping it out? Change it for a totally different one?

Yes, a different one. Sometimes the SD card can get corrupted and can cause all kinds of interesting issues.
