HMS_0300-000b-0001-0005 error on a P1P. I have completed the steps in the X/P Series Printer Troubleshooting guide, finally loosening and tightening the 3 pairs of screws on the plate. Have gone through the calibration sequence, which seemed to go ok. The flashing start arrow continues, as the error apparently still there. It indicates continuing HMS_0300-000b-0001-0005.
What next? Need to be printing. Help please.
Did you check the under side of the printer for obstructions around the Z belt?
Yes, turned up the printer and checked all seemed clear. Also checked the cable in back and it was not binding. We need a “Clear” error button to reset and a button to review error history or something to check recurring errors.
Also double checked for obstructions around the jack screws and the associated slide rails. All clear. No obvious issues there. Seems to perform the calibration sequence just fine.
