I have started to move my jeep ducks into my MakerWorld collection. For the most part they have been printing fine on my P1S.
I recently modified to make a Viking Duck. They are all modeled off the same body, so in theory, the body parts should print similar. I printed an Animal Duck and it came out fine. Printed the Jeep and Aviator ducks, no problems (all these with the same PETG). So I finished up my viking, and set it to print last night. At the end of the print, there where noticeable holes on its back. I thought, maybe with 5% infill, there was not enough area for the bridging (also ran it at silent speed for other issues I am noticing). Put my filament in my dryer box overnight (10 hours) just in case that was part of the issue.
So this morning, I cut it and in the area where the holes where happening, I set the infill to 25%. Also, set the top layers to 6.
Ran that print and it came out worse with more holes, including on its head… Wondering if there is a maintenance issue I am running into here…
In the attached pic, the 3 across the top are the ones printed last week. On the bottom row, the one on the left was printed last night, the one on the right was printed this morning.
