This looks great! I’ve been trying to come up with a way to condense my setup. Currently, I have placed my AMSs on shelving behind the printers with the shelving spaced wide enough to open the covers.
Do you have your AMS hubs mounted on the back of the printers with long ptfe runs from each AMS? For my setup, I made a long hub to printer cable and moved the hub to the shelves and ran on longer ptfe tube to the printer.
@Festavius This is how I have it. The hub is mounted vertical. I used long runs because I figured moving the hub even lower didnt make a difference. The filament has to travel the same exact distance through the ptfe tube no matter where the hub is. I havnt had any feeding issues since going with this setup. I do put my filaments in the order of carbon fiber/matte/basic from top to bottom. More abrasive gets shorter ptfe runs.
NICE!!
Thinking out loud …
Build out the back of the cabinet a bit with an integrated “poop trash can”. !

The full extension glides for the AMS are a great idea! I found some I’ve been hoarding for >10 years, now they’ll find a use!
Thanks for posting the pics!!!
Updated with new pics of edge lit top. Its .44" of acrylic with a layer of vibration absorbing material between it and the wood top. I put a clear coat on the cabinet, added a 4 inch front foot and 2 inch rear and also added shelf liners. The last thing I did recently is mix two of the “anti vibration feet fix” prints on printables. the upper collar from one prnt and the Insert/pads from another. I think its the perfect foot. And ive tried a few.
@Dragster43 I added a 2 inch foot to the rear. Perfect space to build in a slide going into the plastics bin. I wish I had some old hot wheels track now lol. It even has a mounting flange.
Love the lights … don’t recall seeing them in the original post but looks great!

Really amazing… you might have inspired me here!!
Love that there is room for a 3rd one in the middle just in case
Hi! Was searching for ideas to stack my AMS units in sliding drawers like you have done here. Can you elaborate on what you did exactly? Your drawers kind of look like maybe they were 3D printed.
Here is the link to the drawers. He also links the sliders.

Awesome! Thanks so much. I think I will definitely incorporate this in my setup.
