Horrible print quality

I recently noticed that the print quality is way lower then before,
first layer is not solid, contains lines, blobs of filament, color bleeding, etc, see attached image as example.

  • I replaced my nozzle, because it was worn out,
  • recalibrated the printer

any ideas what I can try next ?

Have you recalibrate your filament? A worn nozzle will allow a greater extrusion width. A new nozzle will correct that extrusion width but reduce the flow.

good one!!! will try that! thnx

@JonRaymond no big improvements after flow rate and flow dynamics calibration, any other things I can try ?

When you replaced the nozzle did you replace with an entire assembled hotend or did you assemble it yourself? You might check to see if the thermal paste is there and still in good condition.

Also a factory reset can sometimes fix odd issues. Might be worth trying as well.

I wonder if this is where the vision encoder on the H devices comes into play. Make adjustments as things wear down.

How many hours did you print before you saw a degradation of quality?

I would try belt tensioning and full maintenance and see if that improves things. If not might be time for support…

When ever I change a head I do a full recalibration on the printer might try that couldn’t hurt.

1400 hours or something.
did notice it just recently while printing small letters.
