I have a spare 0.6mm Hardened Steel hotend complete assembly. I’m trying to purchase a 0.2mm Stainless Steel complete assembly but they are always out of stock. They do seem to always have the 0.2mm Hotend available (just hotend…not the complete assembly)
My question is, can I use the additional components from the 0.6 hardened steel assembly and transfer them over to the 0.2 Stainless steel hotend. Are the fan/silicon sock etc compatible across the range regardless of the size of hotend?
Yes, they are the same components. Be careful with the thermistor.

Thanks for your reply. When you say ‘be careful with the thermistor’ what do you mean exactly. Do you mean simply be careful when changing it because its fragile? Or do you mean some other reason to do with 0.2mm to 0.6mm compatibility and the way they operate?
It’s fragile and quite expensive to buy a replacement for in the bambu shop.
Yes, it’s fragile. Many people damage them. They are about $5 to replace.
