About 500 hours ago I swapped my stock setup for a Microswiss hotend with a true high flow CHT hardened nozzle. I use the .6mm most of the time but got the .8mm for large models. I can reliably push 45mm3 with HF PETG at 250C. I’ve set it to 50mm3 with the .8mmHF nozzle but havent tested model strength yet but looks great. The MS hotend seems to keep up with heating better the the BL so I’m thinking it probably has a higher power heater.

This is my first experience hearing about it. I just went and looked and couldn’t find it… but I found this on Temu!
I don’t get back here much but I bought mine from the US Microswiss store. It’s already linked above. I’m still sold on it. I’ve since put my .4mm nozzle in storage. I can still get away with .5mm line width and a .2mm layer height with a .6mm nozzzle. I still use the .8mm nozzle when building heavy beehive components but I did slow down to 40mm3 max volumetric flow just to be safe on items o sell to others.
I just installed Microswiss CHTHIgh Flow 0.4 mm hotends on my H2D. Did it because
- I’ve had great experiences with Bondtech products before
- There are many reports of high flow excellence for the CHT, with any filament
- I am trying to buy less consumables from BL and more from other vendors (BQ, Bondtech, etc.)
That said, since I don’t buy BL HF filaments, I assume that to benefit from the CHT higher flow benefits I need to increase flow rate at slicing time.
Question for Microswiss CHT users:
- Are you happy you switched to the MS CHT?
- Any tips on what flow to use in the slicer, using good quality filaments (ABS, PETG, PLA, ASA, no fancy additives)?
- Any other recommendations on how to use the MS CHT?
