The 0.4 mm Hotend is available in stainless steel or hardened steel version.
How can I distinguish the two version in optical way?

Look in the store at the color of the heatsinks.
Thank you for the Information. If you look at the store you are right and the hotend with stainless steel nozzle has a silver coloured heatsink.
I get one X1CC printer at January and one at February.
Each machine has one complete hotend in the printerhead and one sparepart (hotend without heater, termal sensor and fan)
Like description “What is in the Box” should be the sparepart the hardened steel nozzle.
The problem is each of the parts has a deep black heatsink and there is no optical difference.
May be the different colour is new and at the time my printers are boxed there exist no colour difference.
Can anybody confirm that hotends with silver heatsink exist?
I got you. It can be difficult to tell in certain light, but the 0.2 stainless steel assembly is silver, while the 0.6 hardened steel assembly is black.

I happen to have 0.4 stainless nozzles, they are silver. My hardened 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 nozzles are black.
But my 0.2 nozzle is stainless and black.
