Hotend Temperature Displaying as 168 but it's cold?

Last week, I had some issues with PETG. It ended up going everywhere up in my nozzle and assembly. The hot end on the machine and the app was displaying as 168ish degrees, even when it’s cold (machine had been off all day, just turned it on, displaying as that).

Contacted support. They said assembly is a consumable, needs to be replaced.

I just put a new assembly and a new hot end, and the machine & app still say 168 degrees.

My machine is a A1 AMS.

It’s trying to calibrate now but yeah, as you can see by the temp.

Same problem with two hotends usually means the connecting board(s) or connectors are faulty.

sigh

6 weeks in and already issues. I gave away all of my Creality machines because I was tired of the problems.
