For those of us who are lucky enough to not have to contact MakerWorld too often, how to ask a quick question on a model? I was going to send a msg to a moderator, but not sure if that’s ok. It’s not easy to find info on how and where to submit a question. Anyway, my fidget toy model was labelded as NSFW just this morning when it has been fine before. I wonder if it’s the name Fidget Cock and Pull and More that triggered some newly implemented algorithm. @Tanklet Can someone take a look into this? Let me know is there is a better way to ask this question and I will delete this post.
The best way is probably opening a support ticket on MakerWorld.
I thought about that too but it’s a judgement call and it’s hard to decide. This is clearly a mistake and if a moderator can fix it then I don’t want to raise a technical support tickets which I assume MakerWorld already has too many.
Most likely a newly implemented algorithm labeled this. It’s clearly not an adult-only item. There is a small possibility that the algorithm (image based) mistakenly thought it’s a weapon, when it’s a fidget toy. It’s not even a toy gun, and toy guns are plenty and in all the platforms, including Makerworld and Printables. I believe MakerWorld even showcased designers featuring a toy gun and that’s totally appropriate in my opinion. Here’s the link to the model in question: Fidget Cock and Pull and More by DWdesigns - MakerWorld
When I tried to submit a technical support ticket, I saw the drop down list for different printers only. How to submit a ticket for MakerWorld?
The label seems gone now. Weird. But thanks for the replies. Next time I would know how to submit a support ticket.
