How can i change print speed on Bambu Studio

Hello everyone,
In some of my prints, I want to continue printing in Silent mode for the first 20 layers and then in Standard mode. Is there an option that I can set this on Bambu Studio?
Thank you answers .

HI, I don’t know how to program a change automatically the speed of a printing but, during the printing, you can change the speed here :

sorry the interface is in french. You must click on the speed indicator and change to silence, standard, sport or insane.

Once you have sliced your plate - move the slider down to the layer you want 100% speed (Standard) to begin - right click and add custom Gcode M220 S100

Reslice the plate before sending to the printer.
I have not tried this

Thank you for answer :innocent: first time i will set that next time change gcode

Thank you for answer too :innocent: If this works it will be the answer I was looking for

Hi again,
First I made the printer speed Silent and then added the Gcode. I had to compile it twice for this process but it works. Thank you very much

Hi, since you’re already discussing print speed, I’ve noticed that changing the acceleration parameter to 0 (disabling acceleration) results in a faster model print by about 9 minutes. Can someone explain why?

when i saw your message , i searched some topics  and i found it.

but i couldnt understand they said opposite of you

hai and hello … it is still a strange fenomena … acceleration at minimun speeds does not seem to be effective in de way cura does … a real low acc should bring down the speed also when there is no time to reach the speed asked for in speed settings … … in Cura it does i alway print at 60 mm/s but acc and yerk settings are really low like 500acc and 5 for yerk … this way it only comes at 60 mm/s at long travels … bambu still does not react propertly in that way so i have to print at 20 mm sec average… speed … with bambustudio. In that way there are no problems with patterns on the surface like vfa ecettera… .slow printing is the best for my objects ! always have been and still is ! … funny thing is my printer is running extremely silent and is probably almost maintenance free . the cooling fan automaticly goes down in speed to … Bambu studio will grow in the future it is still young and ambitious… it just needs more time.
patience is my middle name… fdm printing is not really ment to go that fast a lot of machines print very well out of the box at those high speeds. but there bound to wear quickly and after short time problems start to appear… go slow but steady and be patient … some of my prints take 4 days to finish with 450 gr of filament on a 0.6 nozzle… i love it …greetings Marc
