How can I get a shine on the surface

So im in the middle of my first design project type print , a few parts im printing in siler silk pla cos it is supposed to give a shinny silver finish but I only get a shine on the sides where the layer lines are , I tried re-orientating it which did give be a shiny surface but terribly deformed edges , see below the 2 outers are side oriented with support etc and the midde is flat , middle give me a perfectly formed print but the top is super dull.

Any advice would be apreciated

Clear paint or split it in half and use a smooth plate. Cut sides up. Only gonna be shiny on the sides and the surfaces that touch the smooth plate.

Quick answer : Ironing settings. Can look at this video:

If you don’t want to use ironing, or the top surface is curved, sanding and other finishing techniques. Tons of tutorials on that all over youtube.

Ironing doesn’t leave a shiny finish with Silk PLA,
