Yes but that is only if you need to print abrasives. It prints everything else the same as long as you take the time to calibrate your filament.
Welcome to the forum.
And calibration for specific filaments is not as automated as the X1C, but you can still do it.
The one limit is bed temperature.
X1C goes to 120 C
P1S goes to 100C
120C is only available for 110V AC main, I hear. For the rest of the world 220V or 240V, the limit is 110C for X1C
