The first few days always have more views since it seems MW gives new models more exposures (impressions) during that launch period.
The conversion rates should be more accurate and comparable. There are 3 rates:
View Rate: #Views / # Impressions
Download Rate: #Downloads / # Views
Print Rate: #Prints / #Views
The View Rate can show if one version of the cover image generates more views than another. One only needs to note down the date range for each version and compare the rates.
