So this is something that’s happened multiple times now with several of my models and I’m not sure exactly whats going on. This model is a perfect example here:

The main part of the lantern is in the first 3mf file but since the globes have to be printed in vase mode, they are in their own print profiles in the second and third 3mf files. But for some reason certain people can’t see any of the other files except for the one at the top.
Anyone else have this happen or know why it’s happing? I just got messaged again today about a missing file on another model, but it’s most definitely there. It shows up on the app, and on my pc. Are there ways to access this site in a way that only shows the first file? I thought this was really weird and wondering if there’s something I’m missing on my end.
I think most people can, I just can’t figure out why some people can’t see them. I’ve had people tell me I have missing files on 4 or 5 of my models now, but I can see them on my end, and nothing is missing.
That’s why I usually put extra parts on same profile with a dedicated plate and note. Or better I create multiple profiles with all the parts to print that specific version.
Ask them to post a screenshot next time it happens.
After years of working in web development and hearing “it doesn’t work” from users I always ask for a screenshot as it usually gives you a lot more info than the user typically provides.
You might be able to determine web browser, screen resolution, weird browser plugins, just simple user error, or an issue with MakerWorld’s API, all of which could be the cause here.
First thing I would look at would be what number is displayed in the brackets:

If it’s not 3, then it would likely be an issue with MakerWorld not showing all profiles to all users for whatever reason. If it is 3 but they are not shown below it, then I would suggest the user tries another browser to rule that out.
My guess is it’s because the profiles aren’t compatible. By default it might be selecting one of the printers (e.g. A1 Mini). If a profile is not compatible with the A1M, it won’t appear. The selector is this:
