On the Slicer software it shows this user name: user_2098787043 and I would like to keep it the same as in the Forum

Bambu Studio? It uses the “Display Name” configured at Sign In - Bambu lab , but it looks like you need to log out and log back in again after making changes as it doesn’t auto-update on it’s own (mine was also showing a user_## string until I logged out and in again, as I must have updated that after having logged into Bambu Studio).

They all (Slicer, Handy app, and Makerworld) finally synchronized up to the user name I wanted. Even the Handy software started to work, I hadn’t been able to get that to work until I synchronized all the accounts to the same user name.

Can you please change my user name to RobWal please. I have tried using the App and Studio to do it myself and my login is RobWal but forum is still the user numbers ! thanks in advance.

I was just referred here to change my user name as it didn’t update when I finally entered one into preferences. I won’t install the app so this is just for the the forums, and maybe, eventually, Maker World.

From now on I would like to be known as “Nikola Edison”.

You can’t have spaces. You will need to either use “_” to represent a space or some other variation. I’ll assume you want it without a space until you say otherwise.

@JonRaymond if you could change my username from its current user_1143763995 to GlynH please it would be much appreciated! :+1:

I did edit my user profile to GlynH here, on MakerWorld, in the Bambu Handy app and everywhere else I could think of, logged off and on again and although my name shows up in my profile all of my posts still seem to use the user_1234567890 format.

Strange you should think that as when I typed my original request my mind was wondering if anybody has ever requested to change their name from JohnSmith to user_1234567890 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
