How do I change my forum name from User_1234567890?

This thread is for people that didn’t input their username when they signed up and were assigned a numbered named such as “User_1234567890”.

  • If you signed up less than 3 days ago, you’re in luck as you can still change your username. In the top right corner click on your avatar image, there will then be a drop down of icons. Click on the bottom “Person” icon labed “Profile”. Then click on the “Gear” icon labed “Preferences”. This will open your profile page where you can change your username. Click on the “Pencil” icon under “Username”.

  • If you missed the 3 day window to change your username there won’t be a pencil icon next to your username. As a mod I can offer you a one time change. Please post below what you would like your forum name changed to.

Requirements

  • Your selection can’t be a name already used. You can check to see if the name is used by searching for it in the top search bar by adding “@” to the front of the name. IE search “@TheNameYouWant”. This will show if a another user already as claimed “TheNameYouWant” as a username.
  • You can’t have spaces. You will need to either use “_” to represent a space or some other variation.
  • Please also remember this is a family friendly forum and so pick accordingly.

I was able to change my name in the forum section, but it still displays the User_#### in Bambu Studio. Can I get it to change my name in Bambu Studio to Ridgerunner_RYKRT?

You might need to log out and back in Bambu studio. It fixed it for me.
