I got my P2S brand new on July 3 and it has been mostly inoperable with extruder problems and cutter errors, despite having now replaced most parts. How do I go about having it replaced or my money refunded?
Bambu has a 15-day refund period and a 30-day replacement window.
If you’ve engaged with customer support in good faith, you can try to ask for a replacement and point out that you’ve eaten up over a month troubleshooting.
Depending on where you live you may have different warranty terms.
Thanks. I am in North Carolina. I just read the warranty. I don’t know why I thought the warranty was so.much better than it is. It has about another week and then it is going in the trash.
We can work something out and I’ll take it off your hands if it comes to that.
Ill pay for shipping and order you a pizza.
Interested in going into more detail on what it is doing?
Ha! I do love pizza. It started with extruder abnormal behavior errors, cutter errors, etc. Good print quality for the first few prints and then quality got increasingly worse. Now it won’t print at all because I can’t get past the cutter errors. I have replaced every part in the tool head…nozzle, gears, extruder filament, bearings, front cover, etc.
North Carolina and your prints started ok and got worse. Not a lot to go on but sure points to wet filament.
Drying would likely help. Have you dried your filament?
If you want to know if it’s wet filament, put a spool of filament in a ziplock bag with a hygrometer, seal it, and read the number when it stops changing (about 30 minutes or so).
If above 25% RH at room temperature, you might need to sort drying.
You are outside the refund window but still have almost a full 2 years of normal warranty left. If support keeps on not being able to fix it with parts, request that they repair it.
They never repair them, they just send you a new one instead.
Warranty is now 2 years, not just one.
Can you take off the front cover and take a picture?
I just want to see if everything is in place correctly.
