How do you print multi material with PETG-CF

Hello!

I have an X1C with AMS.

The AMS doesn’t like PETG-CF so has to be used via the external spool. How do I go about utilising materials within the AMS such as support material whilst using the external spool?

I have the 4-1 Y piece, but I don’t think that is intended for this purpose. Is this correct?

Bambu PETGCF is ok in the AMS, I use it all the time. It needs to be dried good though as it can be brittle if it has moisture.

I initially gave it a try but my AMS didn’t like it.

Was a brand new roll

It will show up any weakspots in your PTFE routing etc but no major harm will come (minor wear, but nothing to replace). Up to you in the end, it does run fine on the external but you lose the AMS benefits.

Weird. I print PETG with AMS all the time. No problems whatsoever. Not even stringing.
