I’m just about to begin the process of rebuilding my printing set up to accommodate an H2C along with my two X2D’s.
Right now, I have a semi enclosed set up, which I can put a door on and create negative pressure. I’m debating switching to a more open concept with exhaust connected to the back of each printer.
I know this will work great in cooling mode. What about heat mode where the vents are set to recirculate? I fully understand exhausting the warm air is counterintuitive, however, I was more so thinking a very slow fan speed just enough to create negative pressure? I do a lot of ASA and PA printing in a small shop so exhausting is critical.
The only reason I’m considering this is because my space is limited, and I could certainly do more with an open concept, not to mention the ease of infrastructure without having a giant cabinet in the way and dividers between the printers. Would really appreciate hearing what you guys have done and if you’ve made this work or if a cabinet is really the way to go in which case I may have to downsize to one X2D.
Thanks in advance
