How is purge wiper steered in H2D?

Hi,

I need to know what is responsible for running the purge wiper in H2D. Is it some connector? It’s not mentioned in the purge wiper replacement webpage or hotend fan replacement where all of them are listed.

I replaced the failing hotend cooling fan and now the purge wiper jaws are constantly at the back (they should move forward and backwards to cut the filament at nozzle). The hotend doesn’t go through the rubber wiper as well, it goes a few mm above it.

The 2 orange handles at the back are triggered by the back of the tool head.

You can push them to see if they still function.

Maybe the black component on the rear of the tool head is missing.

Yeah, I figured it out a bit later today.

I dismounted the bottom cooling channels which do that cause I was printing Nylon anyway and was disassembling and reassembling the extruder recently.
