I’m trying to upload my newest model and join at the last minute the Magnificent Hometown contest (with on-topic model too!) and the model’s in “verifying” state for quite some time now. It’s my 1st multi-plate model too so I don’t know whether my usual experience with single plate models being very briefly in the queue is normal or I should have started the upload process ages ago instead of tweaking photos and description to the last minute?
I think that normally as soon as you join a contest with a model, it’s instant.
Maybe they are updating some parts of the website still and it’s making it take a bit longer?
Joining the contest is instant, but the 3d model verification process takes some time. I would love if there was some progress bar or something 
In my case this verification lasted nearly 50 minutes making me cranky…
