5800 hrs. I was surprised myself at how many.
I didnāt even know you could check this. I am at 6059 hours on my X1C
1300+ hrs. No major issues, routine maintenance when I think of it. No complaints, good design IMO. I bought like all the colors in the world of PLA starting out then discovered that I much prefer PETG and had to start over collecting filament. I really like the look and texture of PETG-CF and use it even when PLA would do the job. It just prints so dang nice on my machine. TPU is handy for some things, the new TPU for AMS is a tad stiff but does print well. I have used a little PC, it also printed OK. All in all, Iām a happy camper. Just wanting for a bigger one with dual hot-ends to speed the process of multi-color. LOL
I also found that very few things needed to be replaced until over 3000 hours. I replaced my cutter & wiper at 2000, but to be honest, they didnāt show much wear at all yet, I just felt guilty about not doing it previously. I did finally exchange my extruder gears when I got my first jam in it the other day, mostly because since I was taking it out to remove the stuck piece of plastic, I noticed it could use a good cleaning & I didnāt really have the energy at the moment, so I swapped it for my new one, and Iāll clean it later on to keep as a backup.
The only thing that I have found has to be replaced a lot more often than I had expected are the PTFE tubes, especially under the AMS! I am learning to check them every 500-600 hours, because they wear the walls too thin somewhat quickly IMHO and then tend to cause a jam at the worst possible moment - not to mention that they require a bit more of a time commitment to dissasemble the AMS to get to them.
I am new to 3D printing I bought my first printer just a few months ago. I have been printing all kinds of stuff, encountering different challenges and experimenting. I have not let my printers rest much I now have over 1800 hrs. I still have a lot to learn.
Gonna hit the 4k mark the next few days. Nothing but normal maintenance.
Using gear floss has made service much quicker and efficient. I got a lot of spare parts but still waiting on needing to use them.
Had a couple of nozzle changes, but that was due to bed adhesion and nozzle crashes.
No major repairs. A few worn out AMS internal PTFE tubes and funnels due to CF filament, even with protection buttons with PTFE tubes. A bunch of smooth PEI plates, now print on PEZ or ESP plates that have better longevity. Changed the extruder gear due to CF filament clogging up the bearings, but then I disassembled the old one and cleaned it and now its back in service (link below). A few usual maintenance items like nozzle wiper and cutter blades. Had the hot end cover fall off and get damaged but was replaced under warranty. The cable that connects to the front of the toolhead cover (LOGO LED cable) fail due to stress from repeated hot end swaps etc, was a cheap $8 parts. Extruder filament sensor failed, broken cable again due to stress, $12 part. Otherwise chugging along just fine with no major problems.
317 hours. Since Dec 12. (36 days)
im new too and i have just 56
I am new to the 3D printer world. I knew nothing about it at all except a few articles I read about it. I am impressed with Bambu, I was able to start printing within minutes after setup. Then the learning started what a journey. So far I own 2 BambuX1 carbons and now 2 X1e printers. When I first started I read a lot of comments and complaints so I purchased most of the parts so I would have them on hand. As of today my X1Cs have over 2500 hrs on them and have never used any parts except the hotends I had one that plugged bad and tossed it and the other was a manufacture defect as the tip came out and really made a mess. As to the X1Es there both over 500 hrs now and not missing a beat. The only problems I had was some print failures and most due to my errors. Thank You Bambu for such a great machine the only thing I can grumble about is my over 400 rolls of filament on hand. What an addiction.
2644+ and still printing. I have replaced the 4mm hardened steel print head once so far, most prints are petg.
wow thats great to see i wish i could just get my one fixed its been stuffed from the start
I have 59 hours on mine. All have been free of complication other than my ability to learn how to use the machine and all its related software. So far I am very impressed with the tight integration BBL has achieved in developing this product.
I started using mine december 27th 2024 and have 301 hours on it. No real issues other than a squeaky tensioner pulley underneath. A little gun oil and shes back in service.
You should get a youtube style wall plaque for hitting 10,000 hours lol. Thats impressive.
522+ hours from only a month and a half of owning. It doesnt get a break:)
466+ hours over 1.5 months, Iām cutting it some slack
A mixture of PLA, ABS and PETG, some squeaking but other than that all user errors.
We showing off print hours still? 2020 kickstarter unit here with 12,346 hours
I have 500 print hrs on mine. I got it at the end of November 2024.
Believe it or not I had to replace the camber camera. It came from the factory blurry/out of focus and I thought Bambu cheaped out on the camera until I saw timelapses from other peopleās X1C. I reached out to support and sent a couple of the videos my X1C recorded from day 1 and the sent me a new camera. Problem solved.
[Edit]: I have had to disassemble the AMS a few times for broken filament. (I bought an off brand filament on Amazon that was bad/brittle when I received it. But, I was so new to 3D printing that I didnāt know it was not supposed to be like thatā¦ lol)
