How much will I need to replace after burying my hot end in plastic

Had a clog, which kept printing and now my whole hotend is entombed. I’ve dealt with smaller messes before but this is quite bad. I also can’t even start to clean up as the “abnormal” temperature warning comes up, so I can’t heat the hot end.

Realistically what am I looking at having to replace here?

Not the same printer but this may help

Looking at the images and if you disassemble the fan you may get away with just a new hotend and heating element just to be safe

I had this happen several months ago. I end up having to replace the nozzle, I just couldn’t get all the PETG out, the piece behind it, the tiny fan, and something else there, it wasn’t that expensive but it is not as easy as most other printers I have had. Because of all the cosmetic plastics etc, it was a bit of a long process. There are videos on all of it though. I think it cost me $30 or so in parts, but I had most from when we got the money for the hot bed. I bought extra parts and consumables with it. Paid off.

It’s how I get to the screws to remove anything there, that’s a mystery at the moment. Are you saying I can tackle it from behind? The three main screws holding the hot end on are very buried
