How to 'bond' together two area's (types of filament) better in a single layer?

I’m builing a wonderful project but I get stuck with the ‘windows’ of the birdhouse.

The are located on plate 14.

The CLEAR PETG windows are set in a GRAY PETG frame but the bonding between the clear PETG and the frame is very, very fragile. I want to be able to clean the ‘windows’ without pushing them out.

I became aware of it when I tried to wash away the glue I use for the PEI plate (PETG)

As a newbie, I don’t know how to approch this. ‘AI’ does not know either. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

This is LAYER 1:

layer 2 (final layer of CLEAR PETG)

It’s bad design in the original print. They need another layer of clear that covers the frames and the windows to tie them all together.

You also see this in lightboxes and certain other designs where different regions are just edge bonded which is actually pretty poor bonding.

Might contact the designer and ask them to add the extra layer that holds everything secure.

Thank you, will contact the designer…!
